📣 SLDA's Employment Connections & Development Office is excited to announce a partnership with Hospitality Newfoundland and Labrador, to present the 'Service Best' Training Workshop in the Labrador Straits! *SEATING IS LIMITED!!👥

ℹ️ "Service Best NL is a full-day workshop that teaches employees and businesses how to create memorable customer experiences, identify and respond to customer needs, and turn dissatisfied customers into loyal fans." ▶️(please see poster below for more information on this training).

🟢The training workshop is scheduled for Thursday, May 8th, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, at the Labrador Straits MUN Community Hub, located within the E.M. Taylor Resource Centre. The Southern Labrador Development Association is now a member of Hospitality Newfoundland and Labrador, allowing all registered participants to benefit from the membership price of $62.50 (plus tax).

🟠A representative from Hospitality NL will be leading the session, but please be aware that a MINIMUM of 12 participants is required, for the training to proceed.

🔴We strongly encourage local employers to consider enrolling their employees in this beneficial training workshop, especially with the tourism season fast approaching, this workshop is an excellent training resource to ensure your employees deliver outstanding customer service. All participants will receive certification in Hospitality NL's Service Best Training, a respected and accredited program throughout the province. This certification will enhance your workplace reputation and can serve as a promotional asset for your business, as employees will proudly wear the pin they receive.

🔵WHAT TO EXPECT:
•Hospitality NL will provide all training related materials: workbook, presentation, exam, pens, evaluations, etc.
•The exam is 25 multiple choice questions. Participants will have approximately 30 minutes to complete it. The exam is open book, and we encourage participants to help each other. The passing grade is 80%.
One exam rewrite available if needed.
•This workshop is interactive. Participation is strongly encouraged, and everyone should bring a positive attitude and willingness to learn something new.
•Physical Certificates of Completion and Service Best Pins will be sent out once the final invoice is settled (digital certificates available upon request).
