Labrador Straits Age-Friendly Community Committee presents 'Christmas Carol Sing-Along'!

This event took place on from 2:00-4:00pm on Tuesday, December 17th, and was located at the Town Centre in West St Modeste.

Music provided by the Labrador Straits Ministerial, and refreshments was served.

Town of L'Anse au Loup Annual Tree Lighting & Ornament Craft Night- December 2, 2024

Starting at 6:30pm, this event will take place at the Lawrence D. O'Brien Town Centre, in L'Anse au Loup.

Join us for the annual tree lighting, followed by an event where we will make ornaments, decorate sugar cookies & have hot chocolate.

This event is in partnership with the Town of L'Anse au Loup, Southern Labrador/Strait of Belle Isle Community Youth Network (CYN), and Association for New Canadians (ANC).

The Annual General Meeting (AGM) is scheduled for Wednesday, December 4th, at 7:00 PM. It will be held at the Lawrence D. O'Brien Town Centre, in L'Anse au Loup.

We invite and encourage you to attend our AGM. This is your chance to learn more about our Association and engage in discussions on current and future activities.
Your support over the past year has greatly contributed to our work, and we look forward to your continued interest in the social and economic betterment of the Labrador Straits.

A representative from Key Assets will be coming to the Labrador Straits MUN Community Hub, located at the E.M. Taylor Resource Centre in Forteau, to provide three information sessions on November 20th, 21st & 22nd. Please see the poster for more details.

These sessions will take place on the following dates:
November 20th from 7-8pm
November 21st from 12-1pm
November 22nd from 9-11am

These sessions will offer insights into Family Based Care opportunities and employment opportunities with Key Assets. They will also share information about their organization.

Each session will include swag, door prizes, and refreshments, and everyone is invited to join.
