Bonnie Goudie

Seniors Services Officer, SLDA

Bonnie's education and work experience have mostly been within the tourism industry in the provinces of Newfoundland and Labrador and Nova Scotia. She has held management positions in the private sector and most recently with Labrador Straits Historical Development Corporation. Throughout her career, she has worked to enhance and promote the heritage resources of the Labrador Straits to draw visitors to Labrador.

She brings to the SLDA's Seniors Services Office her knowledge of the region, her dedication to outstanding customer service and her event planning experience. As the Seniors Services Officer, she will work to meet the needs of the seniors in the Labrador Straits and collaborate with SLDA staff to enhance the Labrador Straits region both as a great place to visit and live and work.

The Seniors Services Office helps with various services such as medical travel claims, drivers' medical examination reimbursements, home heating supplement applications, Provincial home repair applications, registration for the Canadian Dental Care Program, and more. They also organize a range of events for seniors, including exercise programs, crafting events, social programs, and more.
